Regional Interests

Chris is Deputy Chairman of ONE NorthEast, a founder member of NStar and Chairman of NSEI, Chairman of the North East Employer Coalition and a Visiting Professor at Newcastle University Business School. 

 

Chris has inspired and implemented several significant local partnership projects that have contributed to regional regeneration strategies. He has championed engineering skills and apprenticeship programmes and initiated many projects to support enterprise and entrepreneurs.
